EARLY SKYTHIANS, Imitating Eukratides I of Baktria. Late 2nd century BC. Obol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.47 g, 7 h). Diademed and draped bust of Eukratides I to right, wearing crested Macedonian helmet adorned with bull’s horn and ear. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - [EΥ]KΡATIΔOY Caps of the Dioskouroi, each with palm frond; below, monogram. HGC 12, 153. Senior A19.3. The obverse somewhat weak and struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
